Our Bikini Story

How it started
The birth of her children dramatically changed founder Franziska's perspective on the importance of environmental problems. Having grown up on the Baltic Sea coast, the sea was particularly important to her as a source of life. As an athlete, she wanted to create products that combined functionality with aesthetics, thereby freeing the environment from plastic waste.
INASKA is not just a bikini for me, but a statement in terms of reliability and sustainability.
Regenerated nylon
Our swimwear and sportswear is made from ECONYL® yarn, a 100% regenerated nylon fiber produced from nylon waste that would otherwise pollute the earth, such as fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpets, and industrial plastics salvaged from around the world. ECONYL® is not only a solution for reducing waste but also makes a positive contribution to combating climate change. It reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90% compared to material made from crude oil.

Ocean Waste
Up to 12.7 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year. That's roughly equivalent to half the weight of all marine life. The microplastics released in this process are perceived by marine animals as food and consequently enter the human food chain. Plastic particles are therefore harmful to all living things and should ideally not end up in the ocean. We support organizations working to rid the oceans of this waste.
Our EngagementSince our founding, we have freed the environment from the equivalent of 11 tons of plastic waste, thus making an important ecological contribution.
Eco friendly delievery
Shortest possible routes, for the sake of the climate. Our worldwide climate-neutral shipping helps to offset greenhouse gases and protects your ecological footprint. Every package shipment emits CO2. Our climate-neutral shipping compensates for the greenhouse gases generated during shipping through climate protection projects. We also avoid printed delivery notes, flyers, and outer packaging.
We love all bodies
Our focus is always on the people we want to help feel confident and free again in swimwear and sportswear. We see all body shapes and think beyond the standardized textile industry to offer support to many women. We enjoy sharing our experiences and discussing the challenges we all face as women, whether at the beach, by the water, or simply in everyday life. It's more than just a highly functional bikini.
